We are looking for a senior IBM i (AS/400) developer to join the technology team of a regional retail client. You will maintain, enhance and modernize the RPG applications behind the company’s core operations: finance, accounting, inventory, purchasing and distribution. The role is 100% remote, full-time, working on Central America business hours.

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer with strong experience in modern cloud data platforms, particularly Databricks and Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will evaluate emerging platform capabilities, build proof-of-concepts, design integrations, and help define technical standards for enterprise data environments. You will work closely with platform engineering and architecture teams to assess new technologies, improve data platform capabilities, and support modernization initiatives focused on scalability, governance, reliability, and developer experience.
